I have two PAs for my limited SO2R. Both use tubes. Main PA is Alpha 89 - 1.5 kW and the second one - AL-1200 about 1.2 kW for the second radio - main on 40m and mult on 15m with a tuner in a shack (uses same simple antennas Inv Vee and a vertical).

I'm wondering what is your score?

Well, I was in the contest only
PART TIME...Ended up with 786 qos..48 ITU,78 HQ and 2742 points, for a total score of 345,492
Was running 400 watts with a new KPA500....AND A k3s
Looking for another amp....with tubes....with more power...

If you could afford I would recommend Expert 1.3K or 2K. It's SO2R ready. That's a real bang for the buck. )) Gilles has one and seems he is very happy with it.

I was looking this morning for an ALPHA 87A..but nothing found at the moment....
