RAC Winter contest 2017 - 2017/12/21 16:20
Hi,
For info: during the RAC Winter contest I will be the VA2RAC station this time again.
I will be mono_op, perhaps Assisted(means multi-single for that contest). The Goal is to give the VA2RAC callsign to a maximum of stations, not only for the contest and its 20 pointer plus multiplier but also as a last time chance to contact the QC RAC station for those running the CANADA 150 AWARD finishing the day after (31st December) .
For those in Montreal area interested in working me on the 6 high bands multipliers (2m,6m and 10m X PH+CW) plus the associated 120 pointers, I will be in squelch/listening on 146.400 Mhz simplex FM for the first contact then we will QSY 144.100/CW then 50.100 SSB then 50.090 CW then 28.500 SSB then 28010 CW.
PSE when you call me on 146.400/FM stay patient, may be I am finishing a small pile-up on HF before. Plus, I have only 3 element yagi verticaly polarized beaming East. On FM I have 50W while the CW/2m radio is a old IC211 with only 10W and a sometimes strange tone...
BTW I am myself interested by those mults especially on CW.
