J etais pas sense faire un seul "dit". Mais aller donner des points aux amis etait interessant. Je me suis lasse prendre au jeu.

3 heures, presque tout vendredi soir. TS570, 100W, Butternut 2 radiales.

Bien sur, je n ai pas du tout ce qu il faut pour la bande, mais c est quand meme le fun

Un effort plus serieux pur le CQ 160 de janvier.

Propagation bonne à courte et moyenne distance, faible signaux W6 et Europe, mais heureusement, très faible bruit, ceci compensant celà.

Toujours ce bruit à peine perceptible, probablement du voisinage, vers l'Europe mais très frustrant, car suffisant pour annuler les quelques dB de signal/bruit de certaines stations qui m'appelaient. Du coup, certainement raté pas mal de multis. En regardant les spotting du contest, cela m'a d'ailleurs vallu la mention ``no ears`` d'un LA lui aussi frustré...

La bonne surprise du contest : appel de KL7J, dernier multi, à la toute fin ce matin et du même coup, mon premier 160m WAS en quasiment 24H.

La mauvaise surprise : VY2ZM qui démarre son run en plein sur ma fréquence parfaitement claire, sans complexes, manquant de peux de me faire rater le qso en cours avec un nouveau multi (LA6YEA). Ensuite j'ai été obligé de QSY.

Merci à tous les amis qui m'ont apporté leurs points, ils sont précieux, surtout sur la fin où tous le monde a contacé tous le monde et oû ça tourne à 10 qso/h. (d'ailleurs, pour cette raison, je pense que ce contest ne devrait durer que 24h).

Score 325.214, QSO 1301, SEC 76, DX 31.

Bien meilleur que l'année dernière (+50%) , mais ce sera le cas pour tous les participants...

En résumé
J'ai commencé cela apres avoir fait une journée de 20Heures...6heures de route pour le retour dans la neige (visibilite nul par moment).

Je ne pouvais me coucher immediatement.. j'ai donc fait 50QSO a 4H30AM pour faire baisser l'adrenaline pour pouvoir dormir !!

Merci à tous VE2 pour les QSOs: VA2SG, VA2AM, VE2TZT, VE2XAA, VE2SB, VE2OJ.

It's strange I heard VE2FWW were working with some NA stations but I didn't receive his singnal at all! There were just a few DXCC on band I can work with my antenna. But there were crazy number of NA stations. I bet it was more then during CQ WW on 160! A lot of fun. Sometime I get up to 200 QSO/hr for a while when runnng CQ.

It was a bit difficult to work LP, when you CQ on a freq during a long time some big guns just override it and start CQ without even asking "QRL?" (((

PS: Still need North Dakota! Is any station there?! ))))

I was not serious with my 80m dipole, could just do S&P and
call those with a signal well above S-9 to be heard hi.
Will have something for the CQ 160 contest.
