CQ WPX CW 2016 - 2016/05/27 12:09 Hi all,

I'd like to announce Multi-Ops/Single-Transmitter High Power operation of team (VA2EW, VA2TTA, VA2WA) by using a special callsign VC2A in the WPX CW 2016 Contest. We'll be using Gilles' VE2TZT beautiful station.

Looks like we've set a new Canadian record for MS/HP. The previous was set by VE3EJ with the score of about 9.6M. We also in a Top Ten in World. And this 1st result in the M/S HP category in NA.

The propagation was way worse comparing to the last year. There was always feeling that we are not fast enough because of that. The best hour rate was just 118 q/h. Anyway we've got a good result overall because all our competitors were in the same conditions.

Thanks to guys for a great team work. Special thanks to Gilles and his wife for the hospitality and chance to work from his great station. )))

Re:CQ WPX CW 2016 - 2016/06/04 17:07 I would like to join Victor in saying big thanks to Gilles and his family for putting up with us for full 2 days - I think I could say that both myself and Victor felt at home.

And yes, the station is great and working with Gilles and Victor is the best learning environment. Both are patient and very competitive. The operator skills are amazing.
