Hi, It is that time of year, again. We will have a "Winter Field Day" at our house next weekend for the Nov. Sweepstakes. We fill all of the rooms and have lots to eat! May I please ask you to put a notice on the Quebec and other Canadian Contest reflectors about the contest, so people will get on. Two years ago, there was NO one from your area, so we could not make a "Clean Sweep". Last year we made it and qualified to buy the 75th Anniversary "Clean Sweep" Mugs. At our Ham Wedding in April, Dale and I used the crystal mugs for the Toast! - that was neat! Hope to work you next Saturday or Sunday. Strangely SNJ and EWA were easy on phone SS and nowhere to be found on CW SS.
Had a lot of fun and even had time to compare my end-fed 20m expedition antenna and the loop on sunday PM.
The weakest point here is the RG-6 feedline I use to get the signal out of the house to the antenna. But when you are a renter drilling holes is out of the question. It's not perfect but it works.

C'est que je suis locataire d'un jumelé et il se peut que je déménage en juin.
J'utilise donc le fil qui est déjà en place. C'est un câble RG-6 qui relie une coupole ExpressVue à l'intérieur. J'ai sectionné le câble à l'extérieur et installé des connecteurs étanches. C'est là que je suis relié. Quand je vais partir je n'aurai qu'à rajouter un barillet filleté pour rendre le tout comme dans l'état original.
En CW ça fonctionne bien mais c'est sûr que c'est plus difficile en phonie.
En tout cas si jamais je décide d'acheter ce jumelé j'ai déjà de beaux coaxs style RG-8 qui feront très bien l'affaire. Mais je pense plutôt sotir un peu de St-Georges car les règlement ici limitent drastiquement l'installation de bâtis d'antennes.
