Re:WAE SSB 2008 - 2008/09/15 22:03 Hi Alexey,
good job there, I wanted to jump in friday evening because I like this contest so much but with the next 2 weekends reserved and especially CQWW coming up I didn't want to push my luck here at home...
I'm sure it was a lot of fun.

All reports sent were 59 #, unless otherwise noted.

Equipment Description: Kenwood TS-930, Ten-Tec Titan 425 (700 watts)

Antennas: TH7 @ 15 meter, 40 meter dipole (Friday and Sunday), 80 meter dipole on Sunday

Software: CT 10 DOS in a pentium 1 166 Mhz

Operation time: < 5 Hs

Comments:

I lost my 80 meter dipole during the week before the contest, on Saturday we
have a big storm and I've lost my 40 meter dipole also, finally on Sunday
afternoon we have around 4 hours with not or only few shower and I could
install the dipoles again (thanks to LW8EXF for her help).

It was a very part time operation, but lots of fun during the time on the air.
That QTCs are great !

The home made pasta with pesto sauce was the best for the weekend .

Nice to be called by 9Q1EK (VE2EK) not a new mult, but a new one for DXCC.
I'm very happy on contact a lot of EU friends from WRTCs.

See you in WW RTTY !
