J'avais demandé de recevoir mon Log Checking Report pour le SS2007, car n'étant pas membre de l'ARRL, je ne pouvais le visionner en ligne.
On peut le recevoir individuellement sur demande.

Thank you for your note. You do not have to be an ARRL Member to get you Log Checking Reports, only to view them online. I will happily send any non-ARRL member their LCR for the asking.
Yes, QC is ALWAYS very tough, especially on CW. Thank you for getting on the air. Please tell your friends to get active in Sweepstakes this year from Quebec. It is the 75th Sweepstakes and we would love to see good participation from all sections, especially the rare ones.
I would have operated KX9X/VE2 this year myself, but I did not get a passport in time. Maybe 2009, yes?
I hope to work you this year. Please spread the word to all VE2 hams to get on the air and have fun in both CW and SSB Sweepstakes!73,

Il dit que ve2 est dur à trouver, surtout en cw. Je croyais plutôt que c'était le cas en ssb.

Comme le disait si bien le baron Pierre De Coubertin: L'important c'est de participer.
Ils ne manqueront donc pas de VE2 cette année.
J'essaie de convaincre Jean (VE2GHI) de nous rejoindre.
De mon côté les antennes c'est minimal (locataire) mais au moins ça fonctionne. Je n'ai qu'une dipole deux bandes (40m/20m) accrochée au patio et un LDG Z11-pro.
Donc, une fois les derniers bonbons distribués (Halloween) c'est le grand jour. J'ai averti mes amis de ne même pas se présenter à ma porte.
Notez qu'on change d'heure durant le SS CW.
Comme c'est le 75e Sweepstakes il y a quelque chose de spécial pour ceux qui auront au moins 75 sections. Le nouveau coordinateur des concours à l'ARRL semble très dynamique.

Sections: probably like most of us, got to 68 sections quickly saturday night. Went to around 73 at noon sunday. then started looking for missing ones.
After noon, decided to give 15m a try, and gets missing PR, as well as LA.
Then, heard K2QMF on 20, missing NLI, but too close, and couldnt break pileup. Thought I'd make it later on 40 and I did as expected, but tuning a bit lower of pileup to get my signal a different tone from the other ones. Got it at second call! 100W in a vertical!
Later running 40, KM6Z gives LAX, which was missing.
At the end, copied an exchange involving a OK doing S&P, tryied as hard as I can to get his attention at the very end of hi QSO but missed it. Zut!
I never never heard NWT... But copied AL7IF so many times!
Operations: At my first SS last year, I made 420 QSO buts lost 15% due to mistakes in exchanges reception, in my part. This year, my target was simply sweep and get the most accurate as possible.
I believe my CW habilities are getting better and better year after year as I am pretty confident I got most at first time. That said, I cannot contest as much as I can... Yesterday, I always had a good feeling. Also, condx helped as there was no trouble making QSB here, at least for most of the time.
Also, as everybody need accuracy, do not be shy of asking a repeat. The guys want us bad I think...
The hexbeam helps a lot on 20. I am a tower less to serious results but there will never be a tower here. Thats for next decade or century hi hi.
I dont care, I am having a ball with what I got.
Unfortunately, had to stop at 7PM sunday evening, take care of kids and take care of my flu...
So I was on tha air about 18 hours. SS CW, CQ DX CW and CQ WPX CW are really FB FB activities!

Oui le 80m était terriblement bon, ça aurait été une bonne idée pour moi de continuer mais je revenais d'une semaine à Québec alors le "timing" n'était pas tellement bon de passer le weekend sur les ondes ha ha! Finallement le 80m fût plus surprenant que le 15m. Ce sera à surveiller le weekend prochain pour le WAE.
Vous avez des résultats impressionnant le gars en LP.
