Yaesu FT-102 - the legendary radio of champions in great shape!
I have a good one Yaesu FT-102 for sale. It's one of the latest and manufactured around 1982. It's coming with 2 optional filters (narrow CW 500 Hz XF-455C and narrow SSB 2.1 KHz XF-8.2HSN ). It doesn't have the AM/FM board and the AM filter
This unit is fully working and in excellent shape and appearance. The receiver sounds really great. I have tested this radio on 80 meters CW barefoot and pick up a good pile up from EU stations. The reception was exceptional. Cosmetically it looks 8.5/9 from 10 and close to collector's quality. It doesn't have scratches except minor one on the bottom cover. There are just few minor wearings. The rig's front panel is very clean. It's from non smoking environment. It's missing just only one plastic cover on the side handle (see picture).
It's running up to 150 watts on 160/80 to 90 watts on 10 meters band. All relays except RL1002 in the RF unit and the antenna relay have been professionally replaced by the new ones from OMRON. I've done an alignment procedure as in the FT-102 User manual.
It comes with the only power cord and an original User manual. No microphone.
Asking $570 US or $650 CAD plus shipping in CA/US. I consider also a trade for a modern all mode rig with 430MHz (IC-706MKIIG or Yaesu FT-857D/897D or other)
