The FYBO 2010 will start this saturday, feb the 6th, at 09h00 EST to end at 19h00 EST the same day. It's a ten hour operating period.
We hope to operate during most of this period, temperature depending.
The exchange is quite complicated so here is a little reminder:
RST State/Province/DXCC Country (SPCs), first name, power out, and temperature (Fahrenheit) at OPERATOR'S POSITION. Indoor stations must report INDOOR temperature.
Example: 579 QC LOUIS 5W 20F
As JP said we will be using the special call: VG2SG.
You can try to contact us on the usual QRP frequencies on 40m/20m/15m.
More details are still to come as the preparation for this event is evolving.
Today (feb 2nd) is J-4 and all is looking good and we hope to contact you on the air.

We are go for tomorrow morning to do the FYBO QRP Contest.
I plan to be at our field site before 09h00 (EST). I will try to put up the 40m antenna as soon as possible. It's maybe our best chance to make some contacts with you.
So look for VG2SG or any other FYBO calling station.

Je pars pour le site de notre opération (Cégep Beauce-Appalaches) à St-Georges
La 1ere antenne que je vais installer est la 40m
Je vais écouter autour de 7,030.
JP doit me rejoindre vers 09h00.
J'espère pouvoir être QRV à 09h00 mais ça se peut que ça glisse vers 09h30.
Ensuite on va être là une bonne partie de la journée.

JP et moi sommes tjrs dans le concours. Je suis rentré dans le cégep pour manger un peu et me réchauffer.
Ça se déroule très bien, surtout sur 20m.
