on my side, I will not do it seriously, Saturday morning I am at the Laval hamfest, but for sure I will try to take advantage of the big activity to make a few runs always expecting to work my 5 missing states on 10m etc...

Juste en S&P et pas longtemps mais résultat médiocre avec le temps mis car vraiment pas aggressif vendredi soir et quand j'ai remis 20min à la fin du concours, pas eu le temps de réchauffer la fréquence assez longtemps et fini par terminer en S&P mais trop peu trop tard. Les conditions semblaient très bonnes.

Mostly S&P this weekend with my modest score. I did not participate as I originally had anticipated due to Laval Hamfest, family engagements, and catching up on much needed sleep due to a very busy week. Conditions seemed good with 15m showing excellent openings into the evening.

Mais j'étais un peu découragé, je n'ai plus les oreilles pour tout ce QRM... ni la patience. Tout le monde devrait savoir qu'il est plus facile de copier un signal propre et sans distortion.

Re:CQ WPX SSB 2011 - 2011/03/28 14:32Bravo Victor. Bon Score. J’ai participé un peu moi aussi avec +/- 125 QSO. J’ai entendu VE2EZD, VE2FXL et VE2AWR. Ce dernier semblait avoir + 500 QSOs.
Je ne sais pas pourquoi Claude, mais durant les contest cw, ce n’est pas plus drôle. Dans ton cas, c’est certainement ton niveau de patience qui a diminué pour le SSB.
2 minutes après la fin du contest, les 3-4 stations encore actives avaient toutes des « signaux propres et sans distorsion » mais plus on aurait cru que la bande était fermée. Pourtant à 23 :58Z, j’ai fait B1Z et B3C à 100w sur 15m.

Dans mon cas, j’aime bien, lors de gros Contest, « racler » le fond de la bande entre les gros signaux pour trouver les stations qui s’y cachent.
De toute façon, le QRM n’atteindra jamais le pileup du BS7H. Les oreilles me bourdonnent encore, 4 ans plus tard…
