ARRL June VHF QSO Party 2012 - 2012/06/08 05:29 Bonjour a tous!

Et oui déjà rendu a ce concours de l'ARRL en fin de semaine. A vos radios messieurs et donner le plus possible de point pour ceux et celle qui y participent.

The second full weekend in June. Begins 1800 UTC Saturday, runs through 0259 UTC Monday (June 9-11, 2012).

En ce qui me concerne, j'y serais sporadiquement sur 144 Mhz et 222 Mhz. En mode digitale (FSK, JT65

et CW et bien sur en SSB pour les contacts locales.

Bon DX et surtout bon contest.

Je ne suis pas un adepte du 6m mais vu que c’était ouvert les soirs cette semaine, je vais essayer d’opérer quelques heures samedi et dimanche et de faire 20-25 QSOs pour donner quelques points.

En relisant le post de l’an dernier sur le forum et le Result Database de l’ARRL, je vois que plusieurs n’ont pas envoyé leur log.

Moi qui voulait faire que quelques QSOs. Je n'ai fait que du RUN 3 heures chaque soir. Pas moyen de passer QRT, c'était un après l'autre. Bonne pratique pour les prochains contests SSB.

Only operated last 2 hours of the contest when I got home. Nice opening to the mid and west USA on 6m. I was running all the time and I had a pile-up right to the end of the contest. No time to even try 2m. I wish I had time to operate more this weekend!

Didn't have time during the first day. Got a good CW pileup 3 hours before the Contest finish. Didn't even try SSB except few morning QSO's.

Worked few DX: CT, G, EI.

I've seen in the cluster some W1, W2, W3 were working mid-west station over Es on 144 around 9 PM EST. Daniel, VE2DSB did you hear some Es on 2 mtrs?

No Victor, the only highest grid who had E's was FN32, I was around and listening but nada.

Sans vouloir partir une polémique, Nous avons perdu beaucoup d'opérateur sur 2m et plus avec l'ouverture du 6m. Par contre, je doit bientôt avoir le module 50 Mhz sur le ft-736r, la peut être les choses vont changé. Il reste quand même que ce fut un plaisir all the way pour ce concours.

VE2SG qui était en cavale pour le SOTA surement a fait apparitions en cw, Merci Jean Pierre du contact, en plus j'était back beam sur FN46, bon signal malgré tout.

On se revois sur le ARRL September contest.

p.s

La station a besoin d'une maintenance majeur ici, quelque coaxiaux et réparation a faire, dont le rotor qui est sans indication depuis 6 mois et plus, donc je serais hors d'onde pour quelques temps.

Did not resist to spotted openings and had some nice pile-ups. QSO's with some CT and United Kindom stations are always surprising to me on a former TV band. One C6 and one FM too.

Pas toujours évident avec des conditions changeante. Pendant une heure tu peu faire facilement 20 a 30 qso's et Pfouit! plus rien durant 2 heures. De la le fameux in and out du shack traditionnelle.

Le CQ WW VHf contest est un peu moins populaire mais on va tenter notre chance si les conditions s'y prête.
