We've finished very close to a planned target: 5K QSOs and the score over 10M.

The propagation was beautifull except 160-80. The every DX QSO on 160-80 reqiured some special effort.

Many thanks to Gilles for his generous hospitality and a great chance to use his outstanding set up. Thanks to everyone who was in the VC2T. Everybody worked hard to get VC2T participation great! I think that was an excellent experiance for all of us!

We have some pictures from the contest. We'll upload them to the CGQ gallery when we'll get some free time.

Re:CQ WW SSB 2012 - 2012/10/29 21:53 Super beau travail l'équipe VC2T. Ouch, 5K QSOs, c'est plus de 100 à l'heure en moyenne. Je demande quel était le peak? Il y a du y avoir de méchante runs!
Les gars vous avez de bonnes oreilles mais je gage que vos épouses ne seraient pas d'accord avec moi.
De mon coté, ce n'était pas un effort sérieux. La priorité n'était pas le ham radio cette fin de semaine. Alors j'ai profité des périodes tranquilles à la maison pour faire quelques contacts. Environ 8 heures exclusivement de S & P low power. Un ampli aurait surement aidé a me faire entendre dans bien des cas. Sans compter que nos indicatifs a 6 caractêres sont un handicap. Peut-être que je ne parle pas assez vite.
Autre que l'équipe VC2T, il y a d'autres membres du CGQ qui ont fort bien réussi.
Bravo les gars, très beau travail.
Alors voilà, au pas de tortue, mon score très humble.
