Nous tenons à adresser une invitation à fonctionner comme VE100VIMY / VE2 en commémoration du 100e anniversaire de la capture de la crête de Vimy. Un moment dans l'histoire que certains historiens décrivent comme le «moment où le Canada a sauté dans l'esprit de colonie à nation».

Une station commémorative sera opérationnel à partir du site commémoratif VIMY cédé au Canada par la France du 31 Mars au 9 Avril 2017. Les opérations VE100VIMY / VEN sont destinés à permettre une plus grande participation à ce projet de commémoration et d'encourager les stations à contacter la station commémorative à VIMY.

We would like to extend an invitation to operate as VE100VIMY/VE2 in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Capture of Vimy Ridge. A moment in History that some historians describe as the “moment when Canada leapt in spirit from colony to nation”.

A commemorative station will be operating from the VIMY memorial site ceded to Canada by France from March 31 through April 9 2017. The VE100VIMY/VEn operations are intended to allow more participation in this commemorative project and encourage stations to contact the commemorative station at VIMY.

Il est préférable d'avoir un petit indicatif facile à éhanger et copier et de faire la pub via Internet... et QRZ.com

J'ai vu passer hier XK150YUKON. XK, personne ne sais quel pays; 150, personne ne comprend trop et YUKON, au Canada, on sait ce que c'est mais pour la plus part du monde ça ne leur dit rien. Tout ça ensemble ça fait qu'un QSO dure 2-3 minutes le temps de tout expliquer et de répéter.
