OK c'est officiel on part! nous seront en iceland du 3sept au 15 sept 2018. QRV surtout sur IOTA en phonie et si je peux monté le setup en FT8.
VE2LPS me passe sont FT-817 je travail pour me trouvé un FT857D mais pas de chance présentement, on espere faire du FT8 mais il me manque du materiel de ce coté. j'ai une Budipole en chemin qui devrait arrivé cette semaine. Je magazine un tres petit laptop et je negocie avec WestMountain radio pour l'interface pour operer FT8 et RTTY.
ont arrive a Reyjavik tot le 3 sept 2018, pour partir le 5 sept 2018 vers le nord/est et etre de retour après la loop complete le 10 sept. je rencontre le group IRA (Iceland Radio Ass) le 11 et de retour à la maison le 15 sept.
Les opérations seront probablement tot le matin (heure d'iceland) ou en soiré, principalement sur 20m et 40m, si les conditions sont bonne 10m et 15m. surtout sur les freq IOTA ou DX en phonie et en FT8 si je peu monté le setup.
Je vais faire des appels pour CGQ et Canada en phonie

Ok guys it is official, I will be in Iceland from sept 3rd till the 15th, will be QRV on HF IOTA freq and if I can get the gear together will also be operating FT8.
At this point VE2LPS is lending me his FT-817 for the trip, trying to see if I can get an FT-857D but no luck at this time. I got a Budipole on order should be here this week. I am shopping for a very low cost very small laptop and talking to WestMountain Radio to see if they can help with the interface to get us on air in FT8 and RTTY modes.
Will land early on 3rd in Reyjavik, spend a couple of days there and go around the island (Clockwise), should be back in Reyjavik on 10th, meeting with IRA (Iceland Radio Ass) on 11th and back home on 15th.
operations will probably be early morning and evening local time, mostly 20m and 40m, if conditions are good 10m and 15m. mostly on IOTA or DX when on phone, and FT8 if we can get the setup together.
Will do specific call out for CGQ and VE stations when on phone.
