WAE CW Contest 2010 - 2010/08/11 20:32 Dear fellow contester,

Another year went by and all of a sudden it's already time again for the Worked All Europe DX Contest.

As a participant of last years event I'd like to welcome you again and to invite you to our CW part in the 56th season of this classic contest.

Additionally one word to all continental winners and special plaque applicants of last year:
You are not forgotten, of course. We face some delays producing a new batch of our traditional plaques for the continental winners. Thus, they were not sent out yet and the delivery will not take place until later in autum. Thank you very much for your patience.

Now I wish everybody good DX, good condx and a lot of fun.

En effet ils copient très bien. On leur envoie des QTC et ils les captent comme une oie qu'on gaverait. Et ceci avec très peu de "AGN" et je n'ai pas le signal le plus fort.

Sur 20m j'ai une antenne un peu spéciale. Ce sont deux éléments à fil d'un demi longueur d'onde phasés entre les deux par un stub 1/4 d'onde. J'ai réussi à diriger le tout vers l'Europe, donc dans ta direction.  

Sur 40m c'est toujours ma delta-loop.

The WAE contest is one of the best contest. Interesting, challenging
and you really have to work hard and have attention. You are
really in contact with the other station when exchanging QTC.

I have not tried it on SSB but for sure the RTTY version of the WAE
is as fun. I will try to do it more seriously next year.

Bravo aux BRAVES qui ont bien représenter le CGQ.
