TESTING WINTEST TRIAL - 2008/07/24 07:25 I made a test last night with the version 3.20 (TRIAL) with Phil.
We have checked the network, the log, the GAB....Everything worked ok.
For those who would like to make a test later and connect to my server, here are some tips...
For the test.....The name of the contest is cqwwdxtest.
In the contest configuration :
Callsign is VE2FWW FOR ALL STATION.
LOCATOR FN46KL EXCHANGE ZONE ...5
CONTEST: CQWWDX
CATEGORY: MULTIOPERATOR,MULTI-TRANSMITTER
MODE : CW
BAND PLAN: DEFAULT
NETWORK
STATION: MINE IS STATION 1, PHIL IS STATION 2 ETC ETC ..
You have to configure your interface I mean the CAT...for this go to OPTIONS
configure interface.....
IMPORTANT ....In the Options....UNCHECK "DISABLE LOG SYNCHRONISATION ON NETWORK"
If you want to see the status of all stations on the network and their freq....go to WINDOWS and check STATUS..
Check also GAB...
By the way in the CONFIGURE INTERFACE Check ENABLE ETHERNET NETWORK
bROADCAST ADDRESS IS 192.168.0.255(DEFAULT)
Port is also default 9871
Hope this will help...
As soon as you are ready with Wintest please send me an e-mail I will give you your station number in the network, also send you the TUNNEL and the address to connect..

BTW the default setting for the IP broadcast came up as 192.168.1.255 and not 192.168.0.255?

How do I initiate a connection toyour server?

First test session show wintest very impressive and with Noel server, the whole thing is rockin!

Next test session, DIMANCHE 27 juillet 9PM

PSE ask Noel to give you a station number and dont forget in the contest configuration to put the good station number (stn1, stn2 etc...)

Noel is stn1, Philippe stn2, at this time, I am stn3 etc...
