CQWW CW 2009 - 2009/11/17 19:21 Bonjour mes amis,

It is time for a new big contest: CQWW CW.
I am planning to go to Sept Iles (zone 2), as usual. This year I will be together with Yuri VE2IM and probably I will operate in the contest as VE2XAA/2 on one band. Hope to see you. 73! Alexey VE2XAA

Je participerai avec mon indicatif VA2EW, ce sera son baptême du contest.

Je n'ai pas encore décidé de la catégorie, HP c'est sûr, mais ce sera peut être en ``assisted`` car cette année je préfère ne pas risquer de râter des nouvelles zones WAZ ou des nouveaux pays DXCC. De plus, j'insisterai sur les bandes basses. Pas de recherche de score donc cette année, de toutes façons, 48h c'est un format un peu trop abrutissant pour moi.

I've chosen HP Assisted also. There are still few zones I don't have. And I need few new DXCC per band confirmed for the Challenger award. Also I found that assisted category replaces a second radio. I can't go as SO2R cause I don't have good antennas far enough each from other.

CU et Bonne Chance (sounds as "BC" in french CW)!
