NAQP CW contest team Jan 2011 - 2011/01/05 17:20Bonjour/Hi,
The first CW contest in the new 20111 NAQP CW is coming up. It's starting next Saturday, Jan 8 at 13 ETC (18z). The rules are here: http://www.ncjweb.com/naqprules.php
The power limit is only 100 watts. So that's a very "democratic" contest. Just only you, your transceiver and your antenna.))))
Who would like to join to the CGQ team for that test? If you do please give us the number of hours you can spend in the contest (maximum 10 h) so we can create a team up to 5 person.

There's ben a lot of talk about the NAQP CW taking place at the same time as the ARRL ROUNDUP this weekend, this happens very rarely. The sponsors decided not to change the schedule and we'll have to work through the incovenience. I think 40M will be the most difficult band but the 'Rounduppers' will try and work higher on the band to give the Naqpers a chance to use the lower portion of the band. There will be some 'collisions' of course but I think we can all enjoy the two contests and start off 2011 in great style. So have fun and looking forward to see some nice scores here!!!
