Thanks to VE2XAA, VE2JCW and VE2AWR for the QC mult. I've never heard VE2EZD and VA2SG. Probably propagation to eastern Quebec was completely closed)))

Re:NAQP CW contest team Jan 2011 - 2011/01/09 09:49 Alexei,

Congratulations with the good result! I've never did a full time NAQP test before that time. But I like his contest for true "WRTC style" - only low power and now cluster assistance. That could be nice to have the same spirit in all other contests too.

The TS-590S is a good LP performer. Did not get it hot even during long CQ run by using full power of 100 watts. The rig got just warm a bit.

Re:NAQP CW contest team Jan 2011 - 2011/01/09 11:14 Hi all
Congrats both of you. Didnt have fun. Only 200Qs, 15000 points.

Was hearing few on 40 and 80,. and ... zero stations on 160.

I almost fell asleep.

Will try some RTTY in feb at the CW WW WPX, Hope better fun.

73 all.

I have the same exact number of QSO as JP and almost the same score!!!

Heard other stations working VA2SG, VE2XAA and VE2AWR without being able to hear them.

I spent some time around the QRP frequencies looking for faint signals.
Doing so I worked a mobile station (KC0W/M)in ND on 20m.

Propagation was weird because it was easy to work Texas and California but near stations were scarce.

As Fabi predicted CW operation on 40m was confined to the first 40 kHz because of the ARRL RTTY Roundup.

Congratulation to all of the CGQ and also Jean VE2JCW for his nice score.
