Encore plus à l'aise avec les QTC et avec moins de QSO
j'ai dépassé mon score de l'an dernier.
Un gros orage électrique ici en Beauce cet après-midi
m'a fait manquer quelques heures

Je suis d'accord avec toi Claude, ce concours est très plaisant.

I heard you VICTOR and Alex

À l'année prochaine

For some imprevisible reasons, external to radio and related to problems in neighbourhood, I had to stop two hours saturday night when 40m was at its maximum. then the motivation fell and worked the rest of the contest cooler. I even stopped suddently 80 minutes before the end when a storm came too close.

Thank to people who spotted me, it is not necessary in all contests, but in this one, it really boosted my runs. I think to VE2XAA and particulary to VE2FK with this funny story : In this contest, we cannot call NA. When I saw that I had been spotted by Claude, knowing that he often listen to radio VA2EW for a while, I sent ''MERCI CLAUDE'' on the air and immediatly I got a dit dit...

Re:WAE 2011 - 2011/08/15 09:04 Bravo guys!

Unfortunately I've been in Toronto - Niagara last weekend with my relatives. So I couldn't run in the contest. Very nice CGQ activity!

I thought I heard you Victor but maybe it was Gilles.

I'm still not quite used to your new calls.

Hope you enjoy your visit.

Comments:
Thanks to Claude VE2FK and Gilles VA2EW for spots: yes it really boosts the run! Claude was real spots-man! He was spotting continuous and did increase activity on the bands! I did check the propagation by his spots
The funniest story of the contest: I did mix up VA2WA and VA2EW calls and start ask about QSO numbers by Russian language! And Gilles did answer me!     You are not alone, Louis
Congrats to Gilles with very good result!

See you in next contests!
