Il semblerait que mes cellules grises ont fonctionné relativement bien.
Je visais 200 Qsos, j'en ai ramassé plus de 500 en S&P tout en vacant a d'autres occupations loin du shack.
Le bonus, ce sont de nouveau pays qu'on retrouve rarement en RTTY.
Inde, Mozambique entre autres.
En bref, ce fut un bon exercice pour améliorer mes "CW skills"

Gilles and Victor, I almost fell from my chair when I read your scores.

And what to say about Claude building a tower during the day and being able to work 500 stations during his spare time.

Wow I'm really impressed about all the results and especially for Gilles and Victor (wow in LP btw). Also Sanjay and Louis really great. I'm anxious to see Fabi's score as I have seen him worked a station just before me. And he was doing really well at about 25 to 28 WPM.

I just wanted to be there even if just for a short while and sprinkle a few Qs on each band except for 160. It was fun.

Comme je l’avais dit précédemment, le CW n’est vraiment pas mon mode favori. J’ai mis plus d’effort à courir le DX sur 40m. Mon meilleur attrapé est 8Q7DV Zone 22. Sur 40m les BY étaient trop faibles le matin.

J’ai fait Victor sur 80, 40 et 15 m (dans le dos du beam). Je l’ai bien copié pendant 5 min sur 10m (le beam au Nord) mais il ne m’a pas copié dans le pile-up. Pas facile la zone 2 sur 10m.

Re:CQ WW CW 2011 - 2011/11/28 16:13 Hi, I decided in the last minute and I started late Friday evening the contest after returning from a business trip in Toronto. As expected 80-160 took times to open with the flux around 133. That also means the 10 meters would close right after sunset. I didn't got up not early around 5 am for 40-80, I could not get zone 23-24 in my log. China showed to late for gray zone LP and I couldn't get over the mid-west super stations. In high class I could hear my own echo on 15 m almost to noon time with beam 10-70 degrees. I also heard myself on 20 m. No way I could operate full BK-in both days.
Thanks to Victor for multi bands zone 2 qso.
I used the 20 m LP to get over the pile-up many Pacific stations using the gray zone.
WX was good without rain-snow for the top band I got my last multi on 160m at 23:59:30.
Finally there are many high speed operators keeping the pressure down for 48 hours pile-up.

Mise à part mon score, les autres sont tous excellents. La propagation était loin de la partie SSB. Il y a aussi Stephane VE2SG que j'ai contacté. Il a certainement un bon contest car ça semblait rouler pas mal son affaire.

En passant Claude, j'ai fait plus de contacts en CW en fin de semaine que depuis le 5 dernières années. Vous m'avez redonné un peu le goût d'en refaire.

P.S. Je ferais remarqué que je n'ai pas eu mon DXCC en CW... Je laisse ma place à Gilles pour le CW en VP6T en janvier prochain. C'est plus rassurant pour les DXers d'avoir un contact ...
