Claude FK, Louis EZD, Victor WA, Stéphane SG.

Congratulation to Claude, Dany, Victor and Réjean (in posting order).
Great job from the group again.
Claude j'espère devenir aussi efficace (seulemnt 13h39!!!)
Dany, c'est vraiment super comme participation.
Victor you're really great!

Had a lot of fun again.
Antarctica was a first for me in a contest.

The FT-950 and the AC0C roofing filter are performing very well.

CW is real fun!

Just for working missing DXCC especially on 10m and CW. Best DX was DP1POL in Antarctica on 20m and a JA on 15m this afternoon for both. As Louis VE2EZD told me this afternoon, there was deep QSB on the high bands and distortion on real DX signals. Congratulations to all the participants of the group for your great contribution. Victor, you are a CW machine you know like Fabi in RTTY. For how long did you operate?

What is your ratio on RUN vs S&P.

Merci Luc)))

I was operating around 37 hours in accordance with N1MM. Really I guess that was  36 or even less since I did few breaks less then 30 minutes and N1MM logger counted them as active time.

VE2FK wrote:

Claude,

Usually I do around 60-70 q/h on S&P and from 70 to 180 on run. That depends on time, band and conditions. There are not high numbers. And I've never got more 200 q/h for one whole hour. So I have a place for my operator skill improvement in the future. )))

That was a very hard contest. Bands conditions were allmost the same as last year. The high latitude Aurora has started at 23z on Saturday - 6PM local time. After struggling few hours with propagation I decide to go sleep at 11PM and waked up only at 5 AM. So that why I lost second night for 160-80m. But that didn't change  my final result too much. After 10 PM my rate dropped down to 20-30 q/h and that was ridicules!

BTW thank you guys who spotted me in the cluster. That helped a lot in that contest! I've never heard someone from CGQ runing CQ to send a spot about )))) Looks like everebody were relaxing and enjoing chasing DX by S&P.

73!

Victor
