ANARTS - THE LAST TIME... - 2009/03/31 10:08 > Pat Leeper recently informed me that she would be unable to continue managing the ANARTS RTTY contest due to failing health. She has made every effort to find someone else in VK to take over the contest but with no success.

Re:ANARTS - THE LAST TIME... - 2009/06/11 21:52 So here we go. Last edition of Anarts this weekend. Single Ops can have fun during 30 out of the 48hr duration. The good part is that there is no limitation for break times, long or short or as many as you like. This flexible rule may come in handy.

Je ne sais pas encore combien de temps je pourrai dédier au contest car on a des activités prévues avec les enfants (Manuela dans les pratiques des 'mini-cheerleaders' des Alouettes de Montréal samedi et dimanche!!hihi), mais enfin je vais essayer d'être là dans les moments les plus profitables et payants du test.

N'oubliez pas les 6 continents , c'est très payant!

Re:ANARTS - THE LAST TIME... - 2009/06/14 22:04 Un samedi matin plein de surprises entre 8:00 et 10:00, l'Asie arrivait très bien et mon score s'est pas mal joué dans ces deux heures. J'ai dû quitter après ça comme prévu. Au retour en fin d'après-midi le menu commençait déjà à changer et un 40M très bruillant n'apportait que quelques DX . La plupart étaient des 2 ou 3 points

(zone 4 ou 5).
Dimache matin le party ne s'est pas repeté et les 2 heures passées dans le shack n'ont pas rapporté beaucoup. Au retour dans l'après-midi encore des 2 et 3 points.... Je ne sais pas si pendant mes absences les conditions étaient meilleures. Enfin pour un part time effort je suis quand même content et surtout d'avoir participé à mon seul et unique Anarts (1e fois que le fais). Mieux vaut tard que jamais.

Dear fellow RTTY contesters,
on behalf of the DL-DX RTTY CONTEST GROUP (DRCG) the following information
is posted. The DRCG has decided to give the defunct ANARTS RTTY Contest a
new home. The contest will be continued though with some changes and a
new name: DRCG Long Distance Contest short DLDC. The ANARTS points
table and multiplier scheme stay in effect, VK bonus points are removed and
the contest will be run in three 8-hour parts on the second full weekend of
June. Saturday 12 June 0800-1559 UTC, Sunday 13 June 0000-0759 UTC
and 1600-2359 UTC. A new 6-hour class has been added. Existing ANARTS
contest modules may be used.
Full details (rules, points table, Cabrillo templates) can be found and
downloaded from www.drcg.de.

et bien une deuxième vie pour un contest bien aimé mais qui pour moi tombe souvent dans ma sortie de pêche (bien aimée aussi!!).
Cette année les dates me seront favorables et je pourrai possiblement le faire.
En tout cas on peut s'attendre à un bon succès puisque les organisateurs sont chevronnés et surtout...allemands! Je dois admettre qu'ils l'ont l'affaire. Bravo
