CQ WPX RTTY 2016 - 2016/02/11 15:30Just a reminder of the CQ WPX RTTY contest this weekend.
This is a 48 hour contest which starts at 0000 UTC, Saturday, February 13. Single ops are limited to 30 hours, multi ops may operate the entire time. Spotting assistance is permitted in all categories.
This is one of the big contests of the year and participation will be huge. There are many categories to choose from. Expect wall to wall stations when bands are open.
Here is a link to all-time contest records. They can be filtered by continent, country and call area for US and some countries.

Point of clarification, though ...
Single-ops are encouraged to operate as much of the 48 hours as they desire. The 30-hour "limit" is not on operating, but simply on the official score calculation.
If you're having fun, keep going! Whatever you do, never delete QSOs from your log. This goes for dupes or QSOs beyond your 30-hour score calculation period. Doing so may result in penalties for either you or the other station, or both.

Je suis tombé sur un comique qui s'est collé sur mon QRG. Il a osé venir me dire que j'étais beaucoup collé sur lui. Je lui ai simplement répondu; WAS THERE B4.

J'en ai un aussi qui était à 250Hz de moi avec un signal à +20, il devait de copier... en plus il appelait en REVERSE. J'ai eu aussi comme d'habitude du DQRM, des porteuses, des ryryry etc. C'est devenu la norme et ça vient tant du coté USA que EUro. La propagation était pas mal bonne. Dommage que je n'ai pas eu plus de temps.
Bravo à ceux qui ont eu le courage d'opérer LP. J'ai croisé plusieurs VE2, intéressant, VE2EBK VE2FU VE2SG VE2LX VE2OCH VE2GSO VA2ES VE2QV VE2FXL VE2NMB VE2BVV VE2FK

Re:CQ WPX RTTY 2016 - 2016/02/15 10:11Claude, dans le DQRM, tu oublie tous ceux qui t’envoie 2 fois ton call avant de te donner le leur. C'est ta fréquence de RUN, en principe il y en n'a pas d'autre, donc c'est certain que c'est toi qui va répondre et au nombre de fois qu'on l'envoie, pas de chance qu'on l'oublie.
Il y a aussi ceux en SK, Straight Keyboard. Faut le faire, donner comme échange 152 et taper ça direct sur le clavier, sans macro. Ils n'ont peut être pas de PC. Ils utilisent peut être un vieux Model 15.

Oui, plusieurs utilisent les macros "default" de N1MM sans les modifier pour le ESM alors on se remasse avec: VE2FK VE2FK VE2FK de VE2... 599 599 001 001 de VE2... KN hi... Faut faire avec
