Re:RRTC 2008 - 2008/07/19 14:33 Phil,
good result for this test for 1.5 hour. How it was propagation in your area? Looks like you right about my front end - I did not hear too much stations from Russia and no one from the team competitors. And A was 6 and K was 1!

Re:RRTC 2008 - 2008/07/20 10:39 I was on air from 8 to 10 local time; may be I just miss nice opening. I contact some UA9 but only when they turn antennas to NA direction. I do not know about input RX attenuator but AC Power Line in 5 m from my antennas for sure make a big noise and probably kill the sensitivity of the receiver 73! Alexey VE2XAA

Re:RRTC 2008 - 2008/07/22 16:44 Phil,
I compare our logs and they similar up to 10 AM local time. I miss only JA station that you contacted. Between 10 AM to 11 AM you did a lot of UA0, JA, UA9 - I miss them. But what is the real RST for these stations at your location? I heard them between 5 to 7.

Re:RRTC 2008 - 2008/07/22 22:45 Hi Alexey,

OK for the log ... well at 10AM  I was sure I was expecting more EU...
As for asia ... specially near rare ones I thought Iwas to late..but that what I was hearing !

Difficult to say what was the signal I dont remember it ..but I know  europe was still pretty weak compare to normal... had to listen more carefully for those than for the UA9.

BUT still I get up to late ! at 14H00Z on july 20... I worked VR2008O in RTTY same freq while he was working EU. Pretty lucky for the time.

73' Take care Phil VE2FU

Re:RRTC 2008 - 2008/07/23 08:37 OK, Phil, thanks for info.
From your comments I came to a conclusion, that it is not the attenuator in my front end! It was similar situation here in my location. Just additional noise from near AC Power Line make more troubles for a reception. I can not forget how it was loud and clean the reception during ARRL Field Day last time! It is my dream have same reception im my location!
