I should move back to near Montréal.
It was really dead here.
Only heard some good signal sunday afternoon,
end of contest, CW5W was steady à S7 but
the log was already closed.

only 43 q's, 2 tentatives to make a run to West without sucess except tens of WA's and ON's, always the same propagation whith shadow zone over Central-North USA.

Some openings for DX with easy to contact KL7's and a new one on 10m with ST2AR.

but the conditions under wich I made these QSO are worth telling.

I was at my father's home and had the TS-570D(G) in the car.
I took my equipment inside and made a wire dipole tied to a LDG 4:1 balun.
I hung the antenna in the living room near the window facing west and voilà.
I was able to make 7 QSO with this rudimentary setup.
What a great hobby!

dans le entry window à la place de l'indicatif et un ENTER et
le log sera ok. Refaire le cabril...
