Je voulais participer pour au moins battre mon score de l'an dernier. Comme vous le savez, le CW n'est pas « ma tasse de thé » mais je ne suis fais prendre à mon jeu. Malgré des conditions qui auraient dû être assez ordinaire, ce fut tout de même assez bien.
Il est vrai que le contest amène la propagation vu que tout le monde beam vers NA. Samedi matin, je copiais très tôt sur 10m des UA de Zone 18 très tôt. (P.S » Pas facile d'avoir les QSL de ce coin-là!).
Samedi en soirée, je travaillais d'autres UA de la zone 18/19 avec un gros flutter comme au début des années 90. J'ai même fait des JA à 23H30 local sur 20m l'antenne toujours vers le nord. J'avais jamais vu cela avant.
Victor, you have a superb antennas location. I can't copy many of your sports on 10m Saturday evening. What a score ! ! !
Comme j'écrivais l'an dernier : « mon meilleur contest CW à vie » Il va s'en dire que j'étais en S&P seulement.

Re:ARRL DX CW 2014 - 2014/02/16 19:50Très belle performance Victor, d'accord avec toi surtout 160m très faible, aussi durant coucher du soleil (sunset) sur l'Europe 20m très mauvais par contre 15 & 10m sont restés ouvert le soir pour eux. LP sur 20m avec VK signal courbé vers 60 degrées ce matin avec +S-9. C'est assez rare sur cette bande du moins pour moi. Intéressant sur 40m à 7 utc ouvert SP avec JA. Comme toujours les opérateurs USA dimanche après-midi aucune discipline. Ils n'écoutent jamais le dx... Opéré environ 60% du 48 heures.

Mine was a very partial time participation of 450 qso`s and 142 k points.
I am currently got by the flue and it`s very difficult to copy stations while caughing...
I mainly called CQ in direction of Asia around 00h00 to 1H30 TU on 10m expecting an answer fron a JT. I got BG, JA, KH2, 9M6, UA0 but nothing from JT. JT stations are so used to be called that they never S&P they directly run. The morning they get EU paile-ups so impossible to be heard and the night it`s W6/W7 pile-ups, same problem. I did the same thing the morning but got 1 hour of huge EU pile-ups and impossible to expect to be able to copy a weak signal from Asis. Victor and I where yesterday on the same JT1CS spot , he was easy to copy but impossible to compete S-7 signals of W6/W7 with our poor S-2. Very frustrating. Additionnaly the window only lasted 10 minutes. So Victor, no, I dis not worked him and it is the third time that I can hear Z23 on 10m and cannot break the pile-up from an other area of the world.
Victor, I also heard you on 160m Saturday night and obviously you can hear stations that I do not even guess mainly Ukraine and Russia. My noise on the beverage is S-3 with preamp/250 Hz yours might be very low. On the TX side, I did not resist to test what you say about signal at other side and yes, I was able to be heard first call by E7DX while you and several stations where calling several times without result. I must confess that I have built a second experimental vertical at 40m from the first one in direction of Europe and currenly I feed them in 180 degrees phase, so We can add theorically 3dB.
So the ideal station is your RX and my TX...
