I think so but then agn it's gud to save some for the future. Getting better and having fun, that's what it's all about. We should be proud to have been part of this event and to have in some way given VE2 a little glory in yet another page of ham radio contesting.

J'ai eu le chance de travailler avec les logs....J'ai meme fait les graphiques pour tous les logs....quand tu vois un graphique c'est plus facile de tirer des conclusions...
Le Merge des logs n'est pas une chose facile, meme si a premiere vue ca le parait...Il arrive plein de conflits...avec certains logs...Mais j'avais le temps et ca m'a fait plaisir de le faire..cela a pris un temps considerable....a cause de conflits....
Ce qui m'amene a formuler des voeux pieux pour le prochain contest MM, peu importe le mode....
Le premier....TRES important.....Il est NECESSAIRE que toutes les stations soient RELIEES pendant le contest, et qu'il y ait un LOG COMMUN, Un seul LOG pour toutes les stations en reseau.....A ce moment la, pas de conflits possibles
et le resultat du contest est rapidement sorti.....
Le deuxieme ....voeu pieux....que Toutes les stations qui sont reliees utilisent le MEME LOGICIEL....bien mis a jour....car, j'ai fait l'experience suivante hier avec tous les logs....sur plusieurs logiciels....conclusion...PAS UN n'arrive au
meme resultat.....fouille-moi....pour savoir pourquoi....
Le troisieme ...voeu pieux....que tous les operateurs puissent communiquer ensemble en TEMPS REEL, avec aucun delais.....a ce moment-la il est possible
de signifier a un operateur les MULTS.....
Il y a une fonction avec WinTest qui s'appelle PARTNER...tres impressionnant et surtout tres efficace....
Un autre voeu pieux......j'ose espere que toutes les stations qui operent dans un contest comme IARU soient HP....je dis j'ose parce que ce n'est pas possible
pour tout le monde d'operer HP dans un environnement plein de gadgets dans le voisinage.....mais j'ose quand meme esperer....

Il est EVIDENT que tout score est ameliorable...VA2RAC a un bon score....mais c'est possible d'avoir mieux....faut viser encore plus haut....toujours plus haut..
Je trouve le score bon, meme tres bon....mais c'est ameliorable ...avec differents moyens...et il faut s'organier pour les prendre si on veut etre competitifs...et mettre le QUEBEC sur la carte ....et etre capable d'entrer en competition AMICALE avec nos voisins du sud ou nos amis d'Europe.....
C'etait ma reflexion du matin......

Merci pour vos comments. I'm agree with you. Probably we all have to switch to the Wintest as I see that one is the best contest logging software for a team work.

I'm also agree that we could have better result and mostly because we didn't provided dedicated mult hunters operation. Another one weak place that we didn't got enough operators to cover every band-mode.

Anyway for the first time that's really good)))

I fully respect everyone preferences regarding logger. I think we have to admit N1MM is "maybe" the majority's preference, but it is yet to be proven, as it is free, that said, win-test is probably better choice. Now as Noel know, some use writelog, some CT etc...

In fact, the turning point is: do we go further or not. So I launch this debate now, yes in the middle of july. It's up to everybody to post about this. I know if I try to ask everybodys opinion later, sadly, very few will participate.

Guys, do we try to go further? You really want to put VE2 on the map? Do you want CGQ to get more serious, more integrated?

And for this purpose, at least those who want to get involved in MM operations, would you agree to use one and only one logger?

Would you agree to pay for it?

I am myself a big fan of N1MM. Does it mean theres nothing else? (Claude will be furious hi!)

Honestly, I would go ahead. But if theres no motivation with other members, I wont. That said, I am a pea shooter, my opinion doesnt weight much.

There is nothing wrong in getting another logger. And we all have plenty of time ahead. But we should talk about this now and keep the subject hot as long as necessary

I respect everybodys opinion in this. I know some like write log etc...

But gonna be hard, to do better if not networked in my humble opinion.
