Comments:
Entered Class ASSISTED but it was more to post station than using the bandmap. Just to give a few points... Was a busy stormy week end. At beginning conditions where lousy and gave up after 16 Qs. Later in the day near evening time...looked a bit better. Surprise was to work G6PZ on SSB 28,488MHZ around 00:47 59 in Quebec This was through many STORM system that surround us all saturday. A LOT of QRN Static crashes on 20M... But this band was open to europe around the clock amazing to work a lot of stations up to 3AM where I decide to get some sleep and rest my back. when passed north to west band was quiet and vk zl kh6 coming loud and no noise...but as son as I get to 5 degrees east QRN from stroms where bad... HAD to leave ant to 20 degrees to work and copy Europe with less noise.
RIG: FT-1000MP MKV Field, 300W output. ANT: A3S Cushcraft tribander at 68 feet, + G5RV INTERFACE: Microkeyer II and Software WIN-TEST ver 3.21
