Alex,
I am also having a difficult time with a Vista installation. I don't
know what is wrong in my situation but I might know a point that you
might have missed. Right after Bob tells us about setting the
permissions, he says:
"YOU MUSTBE LOGGED IN AS THE ADMINISTRATOR THE FIRST TIME YOU LAUNCH THE
N1MMLOGGER! (and every UPDATE!)
Otherwiseyou will just get an unexpected error and the program will
quit. Once you have launched the program the firsttime as an
administrator then you can log out and use a normal accountto run the
program. Also note: even a normal account who isin the administrators
group will NOT work!"
Try running it the first time as the admin, then switch to a normal user
when you run it later.
