Nice tropo on Aug 24 - 2009/08/25 13:17 Yesterday there was unbelievably long tropo to W0 area. It started at around 9 PM yesterday night. I worked just 2 stations: N0IRS and WB0NQD from EM29 (Montana) QRB 1860 kms!!!. Looks like it was kind of channel tropo. I've heard N0IRS up to S7 and WB0NQD up to S5! But I've never heard someone else from DX. I just heard VE2JWH and VE3KKL working W8, W9 and W0 stations.

Thanks to Jimmy , VE2JWH who helped me with a propagation info on 2m.

That would be interesting to see whom others worked that night.

I was using just 100 watts and my home brew 7 elements.)))

Au sujet de Jimmy, il me mentionnait qu'il avait completer son certificat pour avoir contacter tous les états americains sur le 2 metre ..si je ne me trompe il est le premier a avoir reussi cet exploit

Je te confirme cet exploie, en effet il est le seul actuellement avec ce WAS sur 144 Mhz au Québec.

Propagation utilisé: Tropo, EME et E's.

J'ai malheureusement manquer cette ouverture sur 2M lundi soir. Hier soir (mardi) les conditions était présentent mais moins forte que lundi. EM48, EN81, EN82, EN61 fut fait ici en CW sur 144 Mhz et presque FN03 en 432 Mhz. FN02 en matiné fut fait en CW aussi.

117 grids sur 2M ici toutes propagation confondue (EME, MS, Tropo, E's) 37 QSO confirmés. 65 Grids en MS seulement. (je vise un VUCC en MS seulement)

En vu d'un WAC (Work All Continent) 3 sur EME Japon, Europe et Nord Amérique confirmé.

Record de distance pour un seul contact : 1335 mi (FN35/EM26)

Nouveau record en meteor scatter: 1570 mi fait par K2DRH la semaine passé.

Qui a dit qu'il n'avait pas de plaisir sur 2M.....
