Re:The annual 'NOEL POULIN' award project - 2011/01/17 20:28
Hi to all,
I just read that Victor starts with a strike against him because he won the 2010 trophee. I don't know if it was stated like that from the start but I'm not really in accord with that. It's not because he's the best that he has to be handicaped by the 300 QSOs thing. I know the way he scores, it will not affect him too much but it's not fair. When a F1 racer wins the championship one year, does the FIA adds more weight on his car or does he need to run more laps the next year for each race?
Victor has won and deserved a lot this trophee with his hard work so he doesn't deserve a penalty. You all know how I did the 2010 contests, by doing the minimum for each contest I had time to do due to the age of my kids and the time I want to take with them and also for other things to do at home on weekends. And I also, except for the first quarter of the year, I did the most contests I could, even in the same weekend, (at one time 3 in the same weekend). I don't know if I will have the same or more time this year for this trophee but it would be a shame to win this trophee just because Victor has a penalty from start of the year. Also, I hope that Claude is eligible this year.
Just my 2 cents! That's really not a critic but my point of view!
