Canada Day contest 2010 - 2010/06/07 11:57 Good day everyone.

Just a quick note to remind the contesting community that we would
love to have you join us for the 2010 Canada Day Contest, celebrating
Canada birthday on the air. This year July 1st falls on a Thursday,
but we hope you will take a little time and join us for a few QSOs.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll be there as SOAB CW. Unfortunately our company decided to work on July 1st by shifting holiday on July 2nd. Anyway I try to do something to be ready full 24 hours.

Re:Canada Day contest 2010 - 2010/06/29 18:30 Please note I'm QRV on 144 and 50 MHz in CW during the test. Please don't hesitate to ask me to QSY to VHF. That's always very important to get VE2 mult on 2 bands!

Operation time: 15 hours

I made about the same amounts of contacts in 6 hours yesterday night of the rest of the contests. This morning, it began right but after that, the conditions dropped quickly to recover only in the late afternoon and nothing good on the upper bands in the whole contest. Also, even when the conditions were good, there were not too much stations in the SSB contests (not as much as last year IMHO) particularly canadian stations (maritimes btw) but there were more VE2

So my best one because of the beam and repaired fan dipole not because of the conditions.
