Survived another contest.
Well, it was the ON/OFF style. Working for short periods and walking away is not the most efficient way but then it is not streneous either.
Actually, SSB is not my favorite but I felt I should get my feet wet once more to build up my skills(?). Like Victor said, not many QC hams in the contest As a matter of fact, several US hams expressed their "gratitude" when I called them. Made me feel like a "Most wanted section" station. Rather unusual to say the least.
Did not get a QC in my log. Heard VE2AWR giving his report to a US station. Being in S&P mode makes us a moving target for another S&P op. Anyway, it was interesting and now I know for sure that SSB is still at the bottom of my favorite modes. But not off the list....yet.
