I wasn't able to dedicate to the contest more then 5 hours. Anyway I made 211 QSO and 101,200 points in SOHP category. Actually my vertical stop working after I erected the 30' tower nearby. Just had a chance to install mini-beam MQ-26 on Sunday afternoon. It still needs to be turned well.

J'ai monitoré durant le weekend mais pas entendu de VE2 malheureusement.
Mais quel QRM, et du split sur 80 et 40m en plus. Faut être très patient pour faire un concours en SSB.

Oui les Amirequins utilisent le split pour rejoindre les zones 1 et 3. Astucieux. Effectivement en low power, la phonie c'est pas évident, et quelle variation dans la phonétique! Mes instructeurs à l'École des transmissions en auraient fait des infarctus ...

Victor I placed my vertical 12FT from my tower (56ft+mast+ ant) and it seems ok...
May be your going to have to detuned your new tower.

C'est a dire après avoir appeler 10x une station on change de pile up !
Et on mêle ca avec tout ce qui ne va pas avec la radio !
