Not any VE2 in my log. I heard Dany on 80m but he was S&P like me.
Salut Dany. Content de t'avoir entendu. Malheureusement pour bénificier du 160m j'ai rallongé l'antenne de 80m. Je ne suis donc pas très efficace sur 80m. Heureux que tu m'aie entendu quand même.
The bands were noisy and I heard other hams on the air that came to this exact conclusion. In the afternoon some not so smart guys tried to interfere with the running stations. Hopefully the auto-notch on our modern rigs take care of such a bad behaviour.
I equipped my FT-950 with the DVS-6 Voici Memory Unit to record up to five voice messages. I programmed N1MM function keys with CAT commands so to send those messages as you would during a CW or RTTY contest. It save your voice and make sending your call faster during a pileup.
