Canada Day contest 2012 - 2012/06/27 12:24 Bonjour à tous/ Hi all,

This year the RAC Canada Day Contest will start on Saturday night. Here is the contest rules: http://www.rac.ca/en/rac/programmes/contests/files/2012%20RAC%20Canda%20Day% 20Contest%20Rules%20-%20English%20and%20French.pdf So I guess that would be good for a better activity. Who is going to represent QC in the contest? I'm going to try SOABLP for the first time.

Guys, who will be in the aire please don't hesitate to ask to QSY mults to other bands or please try to do the same if someone ask you. That's a great help to an operator))

John VA2MCJ has the VA2RAC call this year. I should operate Sunday afternoon until the end of the contest. Besides me and John, Germain VE2GEJ and Stéphane VE2SG should be there too. This should be a good test for N1MM in Multi User mode with Partner logging function.

I will be happy to give you the multipliers.

As a fully manual high power station QSYs take more time here (AL-811H and AT2K) but I usually try to comply to these demands.

I just bought a tower and should be installing it with a yagi before the end of the summer, just in time for the next CQWW.  73 and Happy Canada day!

You are so good with just dipoles and verticals, what will it be when you'll install that tower and the Yagi?

Re:Canada Day contest 2012 - 2012/07/01 11:44 J'ai été une bonne parti de la soirée sur 40m en SSB mais j'ai fait seulement VE2JCW dans mes +/- 100 QSOs. Quand j'ai quitté, Stéphane a pris la relève en CW.

Je ne sais pas trop ce qui se passe ce matin du côté de VA2RAC. Je retourne Chez John VA2MCJ en PM jusqu'à la fin du contest.

En espérant vous donner le multi

Un orage électrique très violent a perturbé le début du concours.
La pompe du puit arthésien a sauté. L'eau n'a été rétablie temporairement que dimanche vers 11h00.
En plus j'ai consacré quelques heures à la finale de l'Euro 2012.

Donc une participation modeste mais c'est tellement plaisant le CW.

A slow start due to a violent thunderstorm that broke the pump from the water well.
So no water till late sunday morning. Also, I took some time to watch the Euro 2012 final.

A modest contribution but had so much fun doing CW.
