I know what you mean Victor. If the tower is not too high try cooking on the barbecue at full blast at the base of the tower for a couple of hours.
I was looking at some propane heavy duty construction type blowers rated 400,000 BTU, they rent them for a few dollars a day (just in case freezing rain shows up before a big contest!!).
