Cette fin de semaine un des contests 'mal aimés' mais je finis toujours par y participer. Je n'ai jamais eu de gros scores dans le UK-DX et peut-être 2009 me porterait-elle chance.

Rules are pretty much straight fwrd and mults are numerous since abreviations for UK cities and districts are well over 100 and counting for one multiplier each.
Problem is that despite good participation by UK stations many, due to UK regulations, use power as low as 10W to 400W when qro (max allowed). Very often limited antennas are used and this makes copying them tough at times.
I find that a lower antenna will have better results in this one offering slightely higher angle radiation for the relatively close by United Kingdom at least from my location.
Un contest qui nous donne la chance faire rouler un peu l'equipement en autant que les roteurs eux puissent tourner avec les temperatures qu'on a présentement.
