Hello,
I was looking forward to the Sweepstakes this year since my major goal was to improve my WAS award.
Not many QC operators around. Thanks Victor for giving me your CQ frequency.
Other "rare" sections were VT, MS, and EWA, but I finally managed to grab them.
15m was terrific and I even worked a KH6 in Hawaii who was operating with 5 watts! 80m was the quietest I have heard at my QTH and I worked most of Saturday night. I was really pleased on the performance of my 80m half-sloper with quiet conditions. I got a call from my neighbor at 1:30AM saying that I was interfering with her radio. I told her to please go back to sleep!
